Introduction to Rashajon Johnson, the purpose of the Silent Noise Tour, and the main themes of trauma, resilience, foster-youth support, and community collaboration.
0:25–0:45 | My Story: Life in the DYFS System
Rashajon shares his experience of spending 19 years in the child-welfare system, living in foster homes and group homes, and overcoming instability, trauma, and adversity.
0:45–0:50 | Original Music Performance
An original song connected to the pain, silence, and emotional experiences of childhood in care.
0:50–1:10 | Lessons From Silent Noise
A trauma-informed discussion about mental health, emotional safety, childhood adversity, trusted adults, mentorship, and what professionals should understand when supporting foster youth.
1:10–1:15 | Original Music Performance
A second original selection focused on survival, resilience, healing, or purpose.
1:15–1:30 | From Survival to Community
A discussion about how schools, nonprofits, churches, agencies, mentors, families, and community leaders can work together to create stronger systems of support.
1:30–1:35 | Original Music Performance
A final original song centered on hope, empowerment, and moving forward.
1:35–1:50 | Questions and Audience Discussion
Participants ask questions, reflect on the presentation, and discuss how the lessons apply to their organizations and communities.
1:50–2:00 | Closing Message and Book Signing
A final call to action followed by optional networking, photographs, and book signing.
